What we do

The transit service planning staff are responsible for developing and analyzing bus route and schedule plans, including near-future transit service alternatives, intermediate-range service plans, and long-range service concepts. They also analyze and assist in the preparation of transit schedules and fare policies and are responsible for adding and improving bus stop amenities.

Feedback

If you would like to provide your feedback on any aspect of Triangle Transit service, including improving current routes or suggesting new routes or stop locations, please fill out the online customer feedback form or call (919) 485-RIDE to speak with a customer service representative.

Short Range Transit Plan

The Triangle Transit Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) is a five-year transit operating plan and capital program for public transportation and ridesharing services. The SRTP provides an overview of the status of regional services in the Wake, Durham, and Orange County service area, and, more importantly, provides a guide for improvements in current services and expansions to new corridors. Click here for more information on the SRTP.
