Knightdale to Raleigh Express (KDX)

In partnership, Triangle Transit, the Town of Knightdale, and the City of Raleigh will offer a new weekday express bus route connecting Knightdale with WakeMed Hospital and downtown Raleigh. Service started on Monday, January 4th.

The Knightdale to Raleigh Express (KDX) is a limited-stop route. Stops include Village Park Dr and a Park-and-Ride at Duke Medical Plaza in Knightdale, WakeMed/Wake County Human Services off of New Bern Ave, four stops at the state government complex, and Moore Square Transit Station in downtown Raleigh. Transfers can be made at Moore Square Transit Station to other Triangle Transit and CAT routes.

The service runs at peak commute times (Monday-Friday 6-9am, 4-7pm). The fare for this route is $2.50 per one-way trip or $5.00 per round-trip. Discount fares and passes are offered. Several employers in downtown Raleigh offer free or discounted transit passes to employees. For more information, please visit our Fares & Passes page.

Zebulon/Wendell-Raleigh Express (ZWX)

In partnership, Triangle Transit, the Towns of Wendell and Zebulon, and the City of Raleigh will offer a new weekday express bus route connecting Wendell and Zebulon with downtown Raleigh.

The Wendell/Zebulon-Raleigh Express (ZWX) is a limited-stop route. Stops include Park-and-Ride lots in both Zebulon and Wendell, WakeMed/Wake County Human Services off New Bern Ave, four stops at the state government complex, and Moore Square Transit Station in downtown Raleigh.
